If there is something I like about living in Scandinavia that would be without a doubt the Scandinavian style. Simplicity, minimality and good quality are the main players in the Scandi fashion life. The ruling colours are usually black, white and grey with a pop of blue and nude, which I love. What you need are some good basics and from time to time a little twist.
One of my favourite basics in my wardrobe are Amercian Apparel sweaters. They might seem quiet ordinary but the quality is really good. The colour and shape stay the same and they do their job which is to keep you warm. After all warm clothes is something you definitely need when you live in this part of Europe. I have a few of them and I use them a lot. Since we don’t have an Amercian Apparel shop in Copenhagen I like to think about my sweaters as souvenirs. I got the first one a couple of years ago in New York, the second one is from London and the one I’m wearing here is the new find from my trip to Berlin.
My pants are from Moss Copenhagen, a new love, which I found on my first stroll through Strøget after coming home from Shanghai. I saw this new shop full of people and as soon as I went inside it become very clear to me why it was packed. It’s everything you’re looking for if you’re into Scandi fashion and it’s amazing. If you are in Copenhagen drop the Little Mermaid and come to Moss Copenhagen. I promise it will be a more authentic experience 😉
and last but definitely not least my beloved Birkenstocks. They are comfortable and they are amazing. We’ve been almost inseparable since i spotted them in Nice. Do you know the feeling when you have this one thing and you want to wear it non stop? no matter what you’re wearing? well that’s how I feel about my Birkenstocks. So here it is, my definition of a simple, comfortable Scandi look, perfect for a stroll though the pretty streets of Copenhagen.
