Kuala Lumpur really surprised me in a very positive way. It’s warm, green, and very multicultural. I love Shanghai but Kuala Lumpur was exactly what I needed after almost a half year in this Chinese metropolis. Many different faces, beautiful mosques, palm trees, sun and amazing food (Nasi Lemak is a must try!). It’s a modern city but history and culture is everywhere and the mix of Muslim and Asian culture makes it very interesting and unique. I would definitely recommend Kuala Lumpur to whoever happens to be in this part of Asia and I hope that one day I will get a chance to explore more of Malaysia.
